By LUCAS ROLLANDThe owner of a Turkish hospital is buying equipment from a company that supplies gas to hospitals in Turkey.
Kılıçdaroğlu Hospital, a private hospital in the southern province of Antalya, has purchased gas cylinders and equipment from Turkish manufacturer Ambulance Equipment.
The purchase of equipment by the hospital, which is part of a consortium of hospitals that includes several other hospitals, will improve the safety of Turkish patients, the president of the Turkish Association of Hospitals and Medical Sciences, Erem Özel, told the daily Taraf.
The gas cylinder is a gas pump that is installed at the entrance of the hospital.
The ambulances are also equipped with gas cylinders, the association said.
The group is looking to increase the use of gas in the hospital to ensure the safety and well-being of Turkish people, it said.
Turkey is a major supplier of gas to Turkey and other countries.
