Turkey’s ambulance equipments have also become highly equipped with technology.
Three ambulances have been equipped with the blue sensor.
Ambulances have already been able to detect a pulse and provide CPR, but the new equipment will help with a wider range of functions, the Turkish Ministry of Health said in a statement.
“The new equipment was developed to be the first of its kind in Turkey, and is a first for our country,” Minister of Health Hasan Akdag told the news agency Anadolu.
The Ministry of Transport and Communications added that the new devices are designed to improve the health and safety of patients, and help with communication and the delivery of emergency services.
The technology will be used in ambulances in a phased manner, with new devices being introduced and replaced by those already in use, the ministry said.
